The Dark Knight Rises With the Angels

Just a quick post regarding the shooting in Aurora, Colorado that happened last night. It's always very tragic to see the loss of life, no matter how much they "deserve it" or what they've done in the past. Life is always special, no matter what, and one way or another, life must come to an end. That's just nature. My condolences go out to those people involved in the shooting, as well as their families.

Just in case you haven't heard about this heartbreaking story, here's the link:

One very brave person, Jessica Ghawi, had the courage to live her life without fear or boundaries. Unfortunately, this unforeseen circumstance ended her promising future. She was a sports enthusiast, and worked for the website Busted Coverage. The real kicker though is that she actually dodged death before in a similarly styled shooting massacre/ambush in Eaton Center of Toronto, Canada. Go to her blog at http://jessicaredfield.wordpress.com/ to see the chilling details she provides. It's obviously understandable that someone could be rattled and distressed by something like this. Enough to actually lock yourself in your home and never do anything else ever again. Sure, you'll be "safe" even though theoretically a house fire, tornado or countless other disasters may still happen, but you'll also never be able to grow, expand and enjoy the little things in life. Is that really living?

I'm actually very surprised that she was able to move past that and still dictate the terms of her own doings, goals and accomplishments. I think she can remind each and every one of us that life is never guaranteed. You never know when you'll die, so keep living your life like its your last day on Earth. She certainly took it that way, in spite of having "excuses" to not do so. You can check her Twitter (https://twitter.com/JessicaRedfield) and see that she continued making the most out of her life. A shame that her life ended so soon, but the fact that she accomplished so much makes her never forgotten. So I dedicate Rule #5 in her memory and all the other victims of this tragic event, as she inspires me to continue to do what I want to set out for in life, no matter how hard the circumstances can be.

Rule #5: Always live your life like it's your last day on Earth, because you never know when it's going to end.
